Outside of music and simply being a worshiper who enjoys being in and leading others into The Presence of God, James Scott is also the founding and lead pastor of The Exchange Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. Pastor James, is passionate about igniting a movement of awakening, that will save the lost, heal the broken, encourage impaired souls and empower believers to make disciples that make more disciples- multiplying and strengthening the kingdom of God. James believes in enjoying life in Christ and displaying the Joy of The Lord. Through his witty sense of humor and easy-going, magnetic personality, he wants others to see that living a life in Christ can really be an enjoyable journey.

Along with his music artistry and serving at The Exchange, James is a community activist and a founder and operator of Freedom Within Walls, a nonprofit organization that fights childhood hunger and executes programming that repairs, cultivates, and uplifts those in challenging situations and circumstances by providing mentoring, nutritional, recreational, and educational programs and opportunities. Pastor James is igniting a movement of awakening through his work in ministry, calling hearts to worship and always endeavoring to demonstrate the love and power of God wherever he goes.
